Stage, film and TV star Bebe Neuwirth made us all jump with joy when she revealed that she's heading back to the Tony-winning revival of Chicago as the sassy Matron "Mama" Morton. Neuwirth, who won a 1997 Tony Award for her performance in the show, stopped byMSNBC's The Cycle on December 19 to chat about why she wanted to take on the tough-as-nails warden role. "I love the show and it sounded like so much fun," she said. Neuwirth also discussed why she feels most at home on the stage, her role as an ambassdor for "Partners on Pointe," a charity program that supports the Dance Theater of Harlem, and if she'll reprise her Emmy-winning role as Lilith Sternin in a Cheers reunion.
